Additionally, SLT maintains and improves the habitats on two SLT-owned parcels: Rhinoceros Creek Reservation and 85 Warren Street.Conservation Demonstration: SLT creates projects and presents programs that demonstrate conservation strategies and awareness of the natural world on Angle Fly Preserve and Rhinoceros Creek Reservation for the visiting public.Historic Property Restoration: SLT is managing the restoration of an historic house at the entrance to Angle Fly Preserve for eventual public use.Environmental Stewardship: SLT stewards Angle Fly Preserve for the Town of Somers, managing habitats including a native garden and beaver meadows, 10 miles of trails and other public-accessible facilities. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c The Organization's conflict of interest policy applies to all Directors and Officers and to individuals who serve on a committee of the Board of Directors, or in an advisory capacity to SLT, the Board of Directors or a committee thereof. Each Director and Officer must acknowledge their familiararity with the policy and shall disclose in writing to the Chair of the Board any conflicts by completing a Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement annually. Each Director and Officer shall have a duty to amend such disclosure promptly, whenever there is any material change in the information previously disclosed. The Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statements shall be reviewed by the Chairs of the Board of Directors. Any issues not previously disclosed, or new information that materially affects any prior disclosure, shall be referred to the Board or appropriate Committee.
