The previous bylaws Article 2 Section 3 allowed 2 Directors to be elected per numbered District. Section 3 of the bylaw was amended to state that the Districts shall stay current and match the UF IFAS administrative organization unless UF IFAS Extension removes Districts completely. The old Districts were District I, District II, District III, District IV, and District V. The new Districts are NW District, NE District, Central District, SW District, and SE District. This realignment changed the way in which some of the counties had been previously grouped. Each new District will still be allowed to elect 2 Directors .State Faculty with Extension appointments will remain to be members of the District in which their office is located.
