We are not a business, but a missionary, charitable organization. Our only income is from individuals, family-owned businesses, and churches. No one receives any products or services in return. Officer directors etc family relationship Part VI line 2 Mr. Simpsons wife, Lois Simpson, is also a Board Member. The rest of the Board Members are all unrelated. Committee meeting documentation Part VI line 8b The governing body, the Board of Directors, meets in February or March via Zoom for an annual board meeting. This years meeting was held on February 21, 2024 at 7pm. A quorum is always required. We currently have no sub-committee meetings. Our Board Memeber, Andrew Boyer, who is Vice-President, is also our legal counsel, and attorney who also keeps minutes of our Board Meetings. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 We give pertinent sections of the Form 990 (what was received in offerings or gifts, as well as our expenses)to the board members at the board meeting. We also produce an annual financial report, which is public domain and sent to each board member. Other officer or key employee compensation Part VI line 15b The Board or Directors set the compensation level for the full-time director/head missionary at River of Life Ministries. No changes in compensation ever occur without an agreement reached by a quorum of the board. Governing documents etc available to public Part VI line 19 Every year we produce a complete financial report detailing our total offerings received and how the funds were disbursed. All board members receive a copy of the annual report and it is discussed at the annual board meeting. If anyone requests a copy of the financial report, it is provided to them without question.
