Project Funds Associations to be used to further the charitable and educational mission of the Association. Reports of these funds are available to all members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Scholarship recipients are required to submit proof of enrollment in their educational programs. Scholarships are sent directly to the school according to the school's term system, upon proof of fulltime enrollment for each term. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The Association's members consist of the executive board of the P.E.O. Sisterhood AZ State Chapter. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a The President of the P.E.O. Sisterhood AZ State Chapter, with approval by vote of a majority of the Association's members, shall appoint one(1) trustee for a term of three (3) years. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b The Association's members appoint a Board of Trustees, consisting of three(3) active members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood AZ State Chapter, which shall manage the business of the Association. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A copy of the final Form 990 was provided to each Member and Trustee of the Association prior to filing. Members and Trustees are asked to review the return and respond with any questions, though no formal review process is currently in place. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Conflict of interest policies and signature pages are distributed each year to all executive board members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood AZ State Chapter (who are members of the Association) and to any of its committee members having influence over financial transactions. Signature pages are collected by the state president and monitored for completion. Any conflicts of interest that arise are to be reported immediately to the affected committee/board and the remaining members vote on the appropriate action.
