We recruit dental professionals to provide pro-bono dental services in the communities where the veterans live. Few realize the VA provides dental care exclusively to veterans with a 100% disability rating, former POWs, or who have a service-related dental condition. Our veterans often spend a lifetime with urgent care at low-cost dental clinics but never accomplish a healthy dental state. E4V's comprehensive care model, not only resolves current dental issues but sets them up for long-term oral and overall health, breaking the cycle of perpetual urgent care. In 2023, we assisted 331 veterans and family members with gap services and essential needs. This resulted in a 595% increase in program applications. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Form 990 is prepared by a contract accountant and is presented via email to the Board of Directors in draft form. The Executive Director and Board members review the form and staff address any questions that come up. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The written conflict of interest policy is signed annually by all board members. Upon signing, each board member is asked to self-disclose any conflicts. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The board has implemented a 360 review process that includes feedback from the Executive Director, staff, and board of directors to review the work and efficacy of the Executive Director. Cost of living and merit increases are considered annually based on performance and commensurate with experience and area market data. This system was formalized in November 2022 for the 2023 Fiscal Year with the next 360 review taking place in March 2024. There are no other paid officers or key employees of the organization. Form 990, Part IX, Line 25 The model for Everyone for Veterans' programs results in in-kind services that cannot be recorded as income or expense on the 990. In 2023, Everyone for Veterans received $329,300 of in-kind dental services for veterans. If this is included in program service expenses, then program services expenses make up 90% of the total expenses.
