COMMUNITY BUILDING Through 36 events like our monthly happy hours, event sponsorships, and tabling at community-wide events, we have helped make the region a place where Asian and Pacific Islanders feel connected and thrive with. We hope to continue this work in 2024 with larger and more frequent community programming. LIFTING VOICES API Middle Tennessee made our community's needs heard through general advocacy and civic engagement work. We advocated for safer community, more inclusive learning materials, and more language access in our public systems. Part I, Line 16 There are a total of $20,556 listed in additional expenses in 2023. These expenses can be summarized in three large categories. $17,327 was spent on food and supplies for community events, venue fees, and event insurance. $2,160 was on digital communications. Finally, the organization spent $1,072 on administrative costs like software costs, committee meetings, and institutional memberships.
