Part V, line 4 To further the mission of Tippecanoe County Historical Association by supporting programs and operations. Committees may make recommendations to the Board regarding operation or financial aspects of the Association. The Board considers the recommendations from the Committees but the Board has the final authority to make the decision. The Executive Committee is composed of Board Officers and the Executive Director and makes day-to-day operational decisions that affect the Association. Like other Committees the Executive Committee can make recommendations to the full Board on larger matters of significant impact. The Board is still the final authority to approve any significant financial or operational changes. Part VI, Line 2 Two of the members of the board of governors are father and son. Two of the board members are husband and wife. Part VI, Line 11b The Form 990 is provided to and reviewed by the members of the Executive Committee and the Budget and Finance Committee. Both Committees are provided a copy of the return before filing and they make a recommendation to the full board to accept the tax return. Part VI, Line 12c The Conflict of Interest Policy is distributed received and signed by each board member at the first board meeting after the annual membership meeting where board members are elected. Any conflicts are discussed and resolved at the regular board meeting or when identified by a board member. Part VI, Line 15 TThe Executive Committee considers industry data.
