Leighton has made the following selected strides:1.Application for Approval to the MCCA. In Spring 2022, Leighton University submitted its operation for approval through the Mississippi Commission for College Accreditation. The operation was reviewed in the Commission's June meeting and tabled for additional review and examination, leading to a Fall 2022 call meeting for review. This information was formally shared with the Boards of Directors and Trustees. LU is waiting for a follow-up on the application made to MCCA. Until formally approved and notified, LU will not admit aspirants.
