(continued on Schedule O) false false 75594 Marking-Microneedle Tattoo System: ACC&D is conducting research in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology, which involves the use of microneedle patches to painlessly and quickly tattoo an animal's ear or abdomen. This project made significant progress in 2023. Beginning in May 2023, 7 veterinarians from the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance applied microneedle patches to 97 cats and dogs, with owner consent, over 3 weeks. ACC&D surveyed applying veterinarians to obtain their feedback comparing the patch to the traditional score tattoo. We also worked to advance the microneedle patch design for use in the ear. In 2023, we conducted our first real world study with free-roaming cats. ACC&D monitors and enforces its Conflict of Interest policy on a regular and consistent basis by reviewing all ACC&D business relationships with the Board members and by means of discussions at Board meetings. The Board of Directors approves all salary adjustments and new hire salaries.
