The members are focused on the security of the Port of Texas City and maintaining proper communication with government agencies. Governing body meeting documentation Part VI line 8a Discussions and decisions reached at the Governing Councils monthly meetings are summarized in minutes. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The Governing Council reviews the form 990 at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c An annual review of the Councils Conflict of interest policy is conducted at the Councils annual meeting. Where a conflict of interest arises, the individual concerned is required to bring it to the attention of the Council. Council members or staff who become aware of probable conflicts of interests are also encouraged to alert the Council as soon as they become aware of the conflict.
