The speech is given on an agricultural related subject. This contest assists in helping students research and learn about today's farmers and ranchers. 29) We support agriculture education for students involved in FFA and 4-H throughout Walton County. Walton Middle also received funding to assist with leadership and careers in agriculture. 30) Walton County Farm Bureau partners with UF IFAS Extension annually to present the Farm Safety Day. Approximately 200 students attend this event where they receive safety instructions on seat belt use, fire safety, power line safety, and ways to correctly handle livestock.
