Prostitution rescue in Thailand through the Well Program displays the love of Jesus to men, women and their families involved in the Thai sex industry through rescue and rehabilitation services that provide food, clothing, housing, addiction recovery and emotional healing through counseling, career education & training and spiritual development. Many of these services were delivered at the Coffee Shop community ministry that began in 2019 and grew during 2020. Included under the umbrella of The Well ministries are accounts directed at special developmental needs of the recipients of The Well services. 602 602 11003 Narimon Program/Community Center Bangkok- Provides women who have left the Thai sex industry a way to earn income while maintaining their dignity. This program provides alternative income-producing opportunities for women and girls who either once were forced to sell their dignity or are at high risk for doing so. Our persons impacted was greatly reduced in 2023 but through Narimon the women and girls created handmade products that they can be proud of, and began to understand that they are valuable beyond measure. The products are sold primarily in the United States in conjunction with public awareness programs that encourage prayers and local law enforcement action against the Thai sex trade. The shift in product emphasis from jewelry towards scarves, convenience snack food products sold locally begun during 2018 has continued to expand. The primary local sales venue is the Coffee Shop ministry site. Use of this easily accessed ground floor site has led to growth in both the coffee shop spiritual outreach and snack food sales. 0 0 58437 Servantworks operates several smaller youth oriented projects including Grace Fund, The Well Children, Future Leaders, Thailand Benevolence, and Upcountry Youth. During 2023 we closed down the ChangGla project of trades skills training for young men and Naree took this over on a reduced basis. These various projects offer a broad spectrum of assistance to help at risk youth to turn from the typical journey towards the sex trade and to focus on education and careers that uplift the human spirit and allow for spiritual growth. 23052 6000 11635 Previously a pilot program of The Well, the NAREE Sewing Project administered by Karati Sutter became an full time training enterprise during 2017 under the general oversight of our Field Director, Jim Larson. This expanding effort is currently managed and conducted by Servantworks associates under the name of NAREE within Thailand. At risk women and girls are offered training in sewing skills and provided a workshop with the tools necessary to hone seamstress skills in preparation for entering the mainstream workforce in Bangkok. We solicit their Statement of Activity and annual Budget and make contribution to them based upon those documents. Form 990, Part III, Line 2 The Well in Bangkok had a modification of facility use as we partnered with a local Christian man who founded a small church and Youth leadership training group using facilities currently under our control. About one dozen church goers and another dozen youth are impacted currently. Form 990, Part III, Line 3 Total persons impacted at our rehab ministry known as The Well was reduced during 2023 to fewer than four at any one time. Also the Naree sewing ministry broadened to include young men with a focus on expanded carpentry skill acquisition.
