McIntyre House provides structured services for about 70 residents per year, who stay in the house up to one year and are offered full residential and recovery services. The program is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Program activities include educational, therapeutic and support group activities as well as individual case management. The McIntyre House primary behavioral outcome objective is that 80% of all residents who complete the program (9 months or more) will fully abstain from all non-prescribed psychoactive drugs and alcohol. The 990 is then reviewed and signed by the Board president. It is then discussed with the members of the Board. Minutes of its meetings are recorded and distributed to all members for review and retention. Organizational status and charitable fundraising is filed with California Secretary of State and Department of Justice as well as the Los Angeles Police Charitable Division which makes available fundraising income and expense information available to donors and the public. All other documents are available onsite for public inspection.
