Education Program: TXRX Labs stayed active and engaged with local students, especially students and teachers from the Houston Independent School District (HISD). TXRX Labs continued to host on-site workshops for HISD and non-HISD students. TXRX Labs continued the partnership with Harris County Juvenile Probation (HCJPD), offering on-site training for HCJPD youth on probation and able to travel to TXRX Labs. We also offer training at the HCJPD Youth Village facility in a breadth of skills - carpentry, CAD, 3D printing, CNC laser cutting, and electronics. Job Training Program: TXRX Labs focused on running the Modern Manufacturing Program which is an entry-level training program designed to introduce skilled students to the various modalities of technology-driven manufacturing. Along the way, we hope to help our trainees discover their hidden talents and passions.
