The Boosters contacted appropriate law enforcement officials. The treasurer eventually pled guilty received a prison sentence and was ordered by the court to make restitution. The Boosters also reached a civil settlement with the treasurer which is the Misc. Revenue reported on Schedule VIII. In response to the embezzlement the Boosters now have an Assistant Treasurer that is involved in the finances a monthly reconciliation is performed an Audit Committee of non-board members was created to review financial records and documents and a CPA was hired to assist as needed with financial records and review reconciliations. Part V,line 7 | Explanation:| A golf tournament was held in April 2024 the last month of the fiscal year. Participants paid over $75 to play in the tournament.
