The Club has no employees of its own but pays a management fee to Troon Golf that includes the wages and benefits of Troon Golf staff serving Club members. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The Club has two classes of members - equity and non-equity. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a Equity members elect three members to the board annually. Each board member serves a three-year term. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b Equity members must approve capital expenditures in excess of $75,000. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b Once the return are prepared it is reviewed by the Treasurer of the Club. The Treasurer reviews the return with the Club's Controller, and once the Treasurer's questions have been answered to his satisfaction, the President signs the return and it is filed electronically.
