The Association is committed to promoting professionalism and excellence in government financial management by promoting education and networking. Provided one all day and 2 half day training opportunities for all members. All training sessions dealt with an aspect of municipal finance and CPE credits were awarded for attendance. A total of 330 people participated. Provided expenses for two executive board members to attend the Government Finance Officers Association National Conference. The Executive Board held two meetings to plan training meetings, set the budget, and discuss pertinent topics for training.
