The Executive Director/CEO became a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor to preserve the program and to meet the demand from homeowners and renters who lost employment due to the pandemic. The responsibility therefore shifted to the CEO, who was inundated with operational duties to generate income to cover payroll and other monthly obligations. Notwithstanding the CEO dedicating more than 60 hours per week to the corporation's success and service delivery, revenue generating tasks were completed and administrative tasks suffered. A prior senior accountant who left the corporation for other opportunities in around 2010 was eventually contacted to help but her work schedule and family commitments could not accommodate the time requirement. Hence, an effort for correction was made but it was unsuccessful.
