Planning and organization of a 2023 Ventura County project began in 2022, data collection was completed in mid 2023 and data delivery was completed in 2024. Projects of this type are very complex in nature requiring a multi-year time frame from planning through execution to completion. Planning for a 2024 aerial imagery and LiDAR project began in 2024. Because of COVID-19 the annual region-wide meeting in late May or early June at the University of California, Santa Barbara (spatial@UCSB.EDU) was not held. The annual region-wide GIS Day celebration was held in November at Ventura College for the second time in three years. The aperiodic CIRGIS general membership meetings at Ventura college were not held. CIRGIS Board meetings were virtual and by conference calls.
