Wongu Health Center:The Wongu Health Center (WHC) implemented 6 days a week operation, including 2 evening shifts. In the prior year we only operated 5 days a week. The WHC served 540 new patients, with a total 6,165 patient visits during the Summer 2022 to Spring 2023 terms, a 42% increase over the prior year. The WHC launched Oriental Medicine Doctors (OMD) practice with 4 licensed OMDs. An average of 17 interns (20 in Summer 2022, 16 in Fall 2022, 17 in Winter 2023, and 14 in Spring 2023) worked 40 shifts (4-hour shifts). To improve intern students' time management, WHC provided Clinic equipment cabinets with blood pressure, pulst, oximeter, thermometers in each treatment room, and upgraded the heat lamps in each treatment room to improve both patients and interns' safety. Improved utilization of our herbal education led to the number of patients using herbal formulas in the clinic increasing to 5,830, an increase of more than 400% over the prior year. Admissions/Enrollment:The total number of students enrolled fluctuated between 31-40 students.Six new matriculated and seven non-matriculated students enrolled during the year. Marketing:We were promoted in the Las Vegas Review journal, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, and the Handshake website for career/Grad school fairs. We visited Grad school fairs in other states, and held 61 outreach events in the local community and Wongu campus, including Open House events.
