Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The organization is comprised of member firms which pay annual dues. These member firms are located world-wide. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The members select and vote on any changes to the board. These votes take place during the annual meeting held each year. Each board position has a term and the membership votes on term length and which members will take over new positions. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b A draft of the Form 990 is e-mailed to the Treasurer prior to filing of the return for review. The Treasurer e-mails back to the tax return preparer any questions and/or suggestions she may have. Once all questions have been resolved to her satisfaction, an e-mail approval is sent to the tax preparer. The tax preparer then assembles the return for electronic filing and mails the return to the organization's office for signature. Once the 8879 is signed, the return is filed with the Internal Revenue Service.
