Given the Board's view of the fund as a perpetual institution, investment guidelines and asset allocations will be based on a long-term investment perspective. These guidelines are discussed with and implemented by an investment advisor selected and engaged by the Board. The Board will establish the minimum performance objective on a long-term basis and will monitor investment performance in accordance with established target objectives. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The Endowment's supported organization, Da Camera, appoints the Endowment's Board members. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b Form 990 is reviewed in detail by Da Camera's General Manager and Controller. The 990 is then distributed to all directors prior to filing with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Each director must complete a conflict of interest form at the start of their term. Updates are requested annually if necessary. The General Manager reviews the disclosure forms to ensure that no conflicts of interest exist. Any potential conflicts are discussed with the Da Camera Finance Committee for potential action, which may range from abstaining from voting on conflicted matters to sanctions if the conflicts are found to be malicious.
