On an annual basis, this revenue form educational services provided by the corporation to its students accounts for 85% of its total gross income. Description of nondiscriminatory policy (Question 3) Our schools policy on Racial Non-Discrimination is listed in the Employee Handbook as well as the Parent/Student Handbook which is given to every parent during the student enrollment process or during new hire orientation for employees. Committee meeting documentation Part VI line 8b The non-profit entity operates under the oversight of a volunteer Board Of Directors (BOD). Every meeting of the BOD will have an agenda which includes the review of prior BOD meeting minutes. Every Board meeting will generate written minutes by the Board Secretary or designate. The BOD minutes are reviewed, discussion and approved at the start of each BOD meeting. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The governing body of the non-profit entity reviews the 990 with the outside contracted CPA firm prior to filing. This function falls to the C.E.O. of the corporation. Once the 990 is completed and filed, the C.E.O. distributes and reviews the 990 with the Board of Directors. Form 990 availability to public Part VI line 18 The corporation agrees to the publishing of its completed 990. It is used in the process of renewing its Solicitation License with the Florid Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as well as non-profit ranking agencies such as GuideStar, and grant foundations that it may seek funds from. Governing documents etc available to public Part VI line 19 The organization, through its C.E.O., develops, reviews, and approves annuals budgets with the Board of Directors (BOD). Expenditures within the approved budget are incurred by the C.E.O. without further authorization. However, any expenditure which is $500 over a budgeted amount must be reviewed and approved by the BOD. Such review and approval is to be documented in the minutes of the BOD.
