It also provides for exhibits and presentations by various artists from both the past and from present day. The museum provides for tours and art classes as well.These exhibits, showings, tours and classes are available to the public at no-charge, and they provide informative and educational opportunities for all ages. These events, showcasing painting and sculpture, and sometimes interacting with other areas, such as the performing arts, help to develop an appreciation for all of the arts among all generations.Part V, Line 4:The museum uses the funds from its quasi-endowment accounts to assist in financially supporting the museum. These funds are used in accordance with donor requests, when applicable. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c When the board becomes aware of a conflict it follows the conflict of interest policy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15a Based on recommendations from the finance committee, the board of directors approves compensation for the executive director and employees during the budgeting process and approval each year. Officers are not compensated. Comparability data is obtained when necessary and appropriate by the finance committee.
