Pt III, Line 3 On January 23, 2007 FWCRCD executed a lease for the land at Geraldson Community Farm from Manatee County. Over the years FWCRCD was given several grants for operations of the farm. In Feb. of 2018 the County decided FWCRCD was no longer meeting the obligations of their contract with the County. The FWCRCD Board continued to attempt to unsuccessfully negotiate a settlement of property with the County until Oct. when the relationship was completely and irrevocably dissolved by the County. Pt III, Line 3 On July 23, 2021, the Organization sold the land and equipment held by the Organization. The Organization has yet to determine specific plans for the future but is investigating other options to fulfill its mission.
