Sessions are 8 weeks of Social Emotional Wellness focused curriculum including mentorships through passion exploration, ie snowboarding and skateboarding. The Hive opened in 2019 with a primary goal of offering year-round programming as well as providing daily support and a drop in youth center for local youth. We now run sessions twice a year, in the winter and in the summer and youth center drop in daily, year-round. The winter session is the SOS Outreach snowboard mentor program and the summer is the Wild Hive outdoor adventure day camp. Sessions are targeted for ages 8-18 and offered in La Plata County and surrounding region. We also serve individuals from Montezuma and Farmington regularly.
