Our previous tax CPA firm/person (Mayra Acros) with Hope Tax Pro. had claimed she had filed all of our taxes for the business/nonprofit. I even have paid receipts that we paid her and email chains, she ended up lying and giving us the runaround. So sad and disappointing for someone to do this to our organization and break our trust. Asking for forgiveness and filing late as we had filed with our tax/CPA personnel and her company, but she never actually filed we learned when I called the IRS to see whats going on. Its super upsetting. But Im wanting to get everything up to date for our nonprofit organization. Given COVID and all the things happened before, we're getting everything filed properly. We filed 990 EZ but we need to file 990 due to gross receipts over $200,000. Were at $210,000 for 2022. Filing the 990.
