Our Mission is to educate and equip Rockdale and Newton County's Latinos with resources, skills and support to enable them to thrive. COVID19 Vaccine Clinics: * Our Organization has been active with boots on the ground since March 2021 as an organizer and host of COVID-19 Vaccine mobile clinics. We have since hosted 14 mobile vaccination clinics focusing on trailer parks, low income apartment neighborhoods, and churches. * Vaccine education pamphlets in both languages (English and Spanish) is distributed at each event. * Provide a platform for vaccine information sharing, and share community insights on nearest vaccine sites and locations, raise awareness, and address common questions and concerns. * Partner with vaccine partner (s) to implement weekends and afterhours vaccine availability for walk-Ins. * Share COVID-19 vaccine availability and prevention information with communities by ways of social media, literature drops, food distribution events, community events. This includes providing phone number to call for access to closest vaccine or testing sites. 1. We conducted contact less classes until the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicates that we are safely out this COVID crisis. After which we will hold a raffle and donate the items to the families who participated in the classes. 8000 7997 Community Event - Annual Conyers Latin Festival: In celebration of the National Hispanic Heritage Month this is an annual fundraising event, which donations will help in offsetting some of the costs as well as allow us to continue to facilitate programs aiming to foster a cultural educational environment thereby strengthening communities. This is a family friendly event, and we strives to promote Hispanic Heritage by cultivating cultural, educational, civic, social, and mental health wellness; as well as, to aid community members that may be undeserved.
