ERCV provides supportive services, wellness and educational activities to promote social interaction and build community among members. We are dedicated to helping seniors live full lives in their own homes with the help of their neighbors. Neighbors Helping Neighbors. In 2023, East Rock Creek Village (ERCV) volunteers provided members with 527 services. Of these, 66% were transportation, 22% were grocery deliveries, and the remaining 12% were friendly calls and visits, and providing help with technology and household tasks. 2000 2000 Care Management. In 2023, ERCV monitored the well-being of 38 frail elderly members with the assistance of a social worker on contract who offered advice and helped connect those who were eligible with local and federal programs that could address their needs. In addition, ERCV bought food and medicine for members in need. 18600 18600 Prevent Social Isolation and Build Community. In 2023, ERCV offered 311 social, educational, and health and wellness activities, including weekly walks, online chair yoga and Otago Fall Prevention exercise classes, as well as three 12-week Stronger Memory brain exercise programs.
