The Endowment allows for the long-term stability of the Corporation and the support of adequate funding to provide a distribution of amounts to worthy emerging musical artists each year and to targeted K-12 music-oriented curricula development to be sponsored by Noontime Concerts.Use of originally endowed funds complies with Noontime Concerts' mission statement and is restricted in accordance with the wishes as specified by the key legacy gift received by Noontime Concerts in 2014 and 2015. A second Fund has been established to support future gifts. Such use is outlined in three fiscal policies adopted by the Board of Directors, including one policy establishing the Fund and fund accounting structure adopted by the Corporation; a second policy providing for the use of funds via a set of specified spending rules; and a third policy authorizing specified use of Corporate funds to establish the initial Endowment balance. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Board of Directors will review a copy of the completed Form 990 and will vote to approve returns prior to filing.
