NRLA proposes to educate the banking and lending communities of the advantages of such loans through their membership and outreach to improve rural communities. 0 0 The National Rural Lenders Association (NRLA) filed with the State of Louisiana Secretary of State on November 10, 2014, with around 12 members. As of December 31, 2023, membership has grown to approximately 79 members.The NRLA Board of Directors had a monthly teleconference with those Directors available to discuss NRLA projections and proposals. The NRLA had its ninth annual conference in October of 2023 with approximately 90 attendees.The purpose of NRLA is to Advocate for USDA Guaranteed Lending programs to support rural economic development. Guaranteed lending is an often-overlooked resource for the needed capital for businesses and communities in rural America that often goes unmet.
