A kid favorite, the shark and ray tank allows visitors to feed and pet them under staff supervision. Informational exhibits are located around the aquarium highlighting conservation issues. The aquarium also has a quarantine and hospital area that is not open to the public, but is used to care for animals and aclimate new residents to live in Boise. We educated over 100,000 visitors in 2023 about life in the aquarium, conservation efforts and oceans in general.
