Our organization continued operating the Ukrainian Dance Ensemble Barvinok. We have organized 2 large community events - the Independence Day of Ukraine celebration and the Malanka celebration. Our organization also hosted and facilitated several cultural events, including art exhibitions, movie screenings, and meetups with Ukrainian cultural figures. In addition, we have organized 9 and co-organized over 25 grant-based events as a part of services to U4U sponsors and refugees, including 6 special topic webinars and 3 garage sales. Besides, we have sponsored 3 additional Ukrainian Consul visits to Seattle to help refugees and the Ukrainian community in Washington state with legal matters. Expenses in this program went towards the implementation of the projects. Several people were compensated for their contributions. In particular, Barvinok instructors have been compensated for their dedicated work, including a board member. Also, several persons were compensated for their time helping implement a U4U-assistance project, including 2 board members. Compensation was paid from the received grant upon grant conditions. 1712816 1679888 1766748 Program 2: Humanitarian Projects in Ukraine. With the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, our organization multiplied our humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. Our largest project by impact is shipping Humanitarian and Medical Aid to Ukraine in coordination with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to be distributed across Ukrainian hospitals. We have collected over $1.5M in value of goods from numerous organizations and individuals, and hundreds of volunteers helped us to collect, sort, and pack these goods. Besides that, we have made 14 grants to charities in Ukraine and executed 3 smaller projects to deliver relief to the people of Ukraine. 3998 0 0 Program 3: Ukraine Advocacy and Activism. As a part of this program, we have organized and co-organized 3 rallies, the Holodomor 90-year commemoration event. Our Political Advocacy Committee held regular meetings with US politicians to raise awareness, educate about Ukraine, and provide feedback from the Ukrainian community.
