The purpose of this initiative is to provide humanitarian services, primarily through Rotary Global Grants. Examples of these grants include Kidney transplants, pacemakers, basic learning skill workshops, neurological center equipment, cleft lip and palate surgery equipment, low-cost shelters, positive peace training and development, school renovations, clean water projects, and wheelchairs. 155826 5370 142708 Each year, the District holds an annual District Conference which consists of the annual business meeting and other sessions. This year, the expenses were $36,420 and the revenues were $26,045. It is designed to inspire and inform Rotarians at the District level, while advancing the strategic goals of Rotary Internation, the District and the Rotary Foundation. The income The proceeds from the silent auction held at the conference and from fees for the golf tournament are donated to the Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus mission of eradicating Polio.
