Planting and maintenance on 4.5 acres of oak savannah habitat restoration, including 3 acres at the Yamhill SWCDs Miller Woods Conservation Education Property. Enhancement of 1 acre of habitat along unnamed tributary within Ash Meadows Park in McMinnville. Culvert replacement on unnamed tributary of the Glenbrook Creek. Maintenance of previously completed restoration sites along Hess Creek, Chehalem Valley, and Salt Creek.Habitat Monitoring:Continued participation in the Yamhill Fish Spawning Survey Program (Year 9), a volunteer-led, long-term study of the distribution and abundance of salmonid spawning/rearing habitat and populations across the Yamhill River Watershed. Continued coordination of the Summer Stream Temperature Monitoring Program (year 21) to assess and characterize water quality pollution related to high temperatures in salmonid-bearing streams across the Yamhill River and Chehalem Creek Watersheds. Community Outreach & EducationPartnered with local private, public, and tribal stakeholders to implement additional watershed projects, including roadside vegetation management projects with Yamhill County Public Works. Also participated in the Yamhill Invasive Weeds Cooperative, including outreach, surveys, and control treatments for Garlic Mustard across a 35+ acre floodplain along Cozine and Baker Creeks.
