NOWC hosts state legislators on community tours and sometimes meets with them to share news and information about watershed councils only. Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6 Membership has only one level and is comprised of watershed councils in Oregon. NOWC continues an affiliate membership tier for watershed-adjacent organizations and businesses that provide the same level of services and resources. Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a Members from each region are able to appoint and elect representatives. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The 990 and supplemental forms are sent to the Board for their review and comment. Approval of the 990 is vested in the Executive Committee. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c All NOWC Board members annually sign an statement confirming that they have read and understand the conflict of interest policies and declare that they have had no conflicts during the prior year. CEO executive director top management comp Part VI line 15a The NOWC Executive Committee evaluated comparable salaries using a number of non-profit organization compensation reports to determine the Executive Directors salary.
