NVCADP hosted a variety of educational events throughout the year for members of the public, including two film screenings, two Abolition Chats, a community presentation about the failures of the death penalty, and a faith leader breakfast to discuss how to approach the topic with congregations. The Coalition co-hosted two other faith-based events, one during Black History month featuring directly impacted individuals and the other for World Day Against the Death Penalty featuring faith leaders. The Coalition staffed tables at the Juneteenth celebration in Reno and the MLK, Jr. Day events in Las Vegas, to provide information and resources about the use of the death penalty in Nevada.
