Health and social services, such as those provided by APH and Central Health, all who could not reach these underserved communities, now have the means to facilitate outreach and service use because of our services. In the past year: We proudly served 389 Travis County residents this fiscal year, a 9% increase over our goal of 350 clients. Our staff helped clients receive or maintain their health coverage options; these include private health insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, and ACA, and also other coverage options such as MAP. Due to our successful efforts, 95.37% of Travis County clients have received or maintained health coverage through AACHI's assistance. We provided positive health impacts to clients, as seen by our 95% client health coverage rate for FY23. AACHI's trusted ten bilingual CHWs and 1 Program Manager worked with key partners to meet communities where they were and pivoted to more in-person and presentation-based outreach, such as tabling at highly trafficked grocery stores, partnering with vaccination providers to provide pop-up vaccinations, ESL programs, and going door-to-door to AAPI businesses to learn more about their vaccination status and mobile vaccination needs.
