In partnership with the Salvation Army and Anacortes Family Center, our Foundation offers a needs-based voucher program where qualifying families my receive shopping vouchers they may use toward the cost of merchandise purchased in our Foundation's thrift shop. Scholarships are also awarded to district graduates to continue post high school education and training. Scholarships are granted based on objective criteria such as academic excellence and financial need without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or religious affiliation. This year 20 students received scholarships. 17100 0 0 Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs - Our Foundation provides volunteer advisors to Kiwanis International affiliated service leadership club; Key Club for High school students, Builders Club at the middle school and KKids for grade schoolers. The foundation also gives financial support by paying operating expenses incurred by the clubs.
