Because many people feel that their vote is not important, in order to have a society of committed voters, it is necessary to teach and enlighten citizens not only of their right to vote and what it cost but also the importance of availing themselves to the process in a factual and truthful way During 2023 after acquiring funding, We Must Vote Inc conducted training for employees to prepare for Voter Registration programs. We conducted 8 voter registration programs in Hinds County alone, and we did door-to-door campaigns too help people get registered in underserved communities saturated with elderly people and those who lack adequate transportation. We got 264 people registered to vote and made sure that they were all aware of where their precinct was located.
