Grants include a variety of costs related to education - books, lodging, etc. Grants are awarded to individuals based on need and aptitude. Need is verified by conducting due diligence among the grantee's contacts and others. Aptitude is determined through reviewing school transcripts. FARE directors maintain contact recipients to verify financial disbursements. All FARE tax returns are shared with Directors and are available for public inspection. We have a conflict of interest policy we follow.
