The goal of urgent care is to provide short term crisis intervention so that individuals will not need an emergency detention stay if possible. Program staff have specialized knowledge of and training in crisis care. Staff include a program manager, registered nurses, case managers, Licensed Behavioral Health Practitioners (LBHP), Recovery Support Specialists, Psychiatric technicians, and a consulting physician.
