Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Community Members are appointed by the Board of Directors to serve on the Board of Directors. While co-op house members are automatically on the board, Community members do not live in the co-op houses and bring outside objectivity to board decisions. Community members apply to serve on the Board and are appointed by the board. We require a minimum of two community members on the board at all times. We currently have three.
