On this website, SARR publishes a monthly President's letter (or newsletter) containing items of interest to the local running community. SARR also provides the local community with an online events calendar that is open to the local community to post running and walking events, and to promote fundraising events through these events for other local charitable organizations. Additionally SARR maintains a Facebook page and a Meetup.com site to encourage runners and walkers of all ages to organize and participate in runs and walks throughout the week. The Board will appoint the Treasurer to serve a 2-year term each even numbered year. Bylaw Revision #2 - The Director of Volunteers is also responsible for maintaining and updating as necessary the Volunteer Expectation forms and awarding volunteer points following training seasons and races. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a With the exception of the Treasurer which is appointed by the Board, Board members are elected by the membership at the annual meeting of the membership in June of every year. Half of the Board Members are up for election every other year.
