The Executive Director leads the planning of the conferences and workshops, including registration, facilites, exhibitors, and printing. The Executive Director maintains mailings, legislative information and updates, and other duties assigned by the President and/or Executive Council. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B The Executive Director and/or Treasurer provide copies of Form 990 to all Executive Council members. Form 990 is distributed prior to filing of the form with the IRS. Notice of availability of Form 990 is posted on the organizations website and provided to any member requesting a copy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15A Compensation for the Executive Director is determined by the following process The Associations President and Past-Presidents committee create a plan of work to be completed by the Executive Director and assigns a compensation amount to the contracted services chosen for that year. The Executive Council votes to accept or reject the proposed compensation. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The ACET organization posts the Constitution and By-Laws on its website www.acetx.org. The financial statements are not posted on the website but are available to the public upon request.
