The objects of this Local Union shall be to promote by all proper means the material and intellectual welfare of its members and to promote a fraternal and friendly feeling among the electrical craft and the Ohio Power Company system. This is done through collective bargaining to secure better working conditions, wages and other similar benefits, including but not limited to lockouts, death, sickness & accidents. The last calendar day, 12/31/23, our membership within L.U. 696 represented a total of 77 members: including officers, executive board members, stewards, and all other members. We successfully represented every employee according to the agreement between IBEW L.U. 696 & the Ohio Power Company.
