Currently, Virginia Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Liteacy has about 150 national partners. Its member partners represent businesses, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, associations, academic institutions, government entities, and others. Jump$tart has a governing body which represents the broad interest of the general public by ensuring Jump$tart continues to provide resources for the financial literacy effort and generally provides facilities or services directly for the benefit of the general public on a continuing basis. Jump$tart acts as a resource for financial literacy information for state legislature, member organizations, financial literacy providers and Virginia educators. Since 2009, Jump$tart has held an annual Jump$tart Educator Conference in Virginia, which provides classroom teachers with resources and information to improve their own levels of financial literacy, as well as improve their ability to teach personal finance in school.
