Students had an opportunity to learn valuable skills such as research and public speaking. They research an ag related topic and present their speech in front of agriculture professionals. Line 29) Collier County Farm Bureau held a Hometown Rodeo to raise awareness about agriculture in our community. Attendee were told about the commodities grown in the area along with the economic and enviromental impacts made by agriculture in Collier county. Line 30) We held adult and children AgVenture style events. Attendees visited 10 commodity booths where they learned about agriculture in Collier county and the state of Florida. Over 250 4th grade students learned about the same commodities the adults did.
