If no resource is available, we work with these same groups to create solutions in the belief that stronger families create stronger communities. Clothing Closet: our largest expense for the clothing closet are In-Kind clothing donations given out. The closet served almost 1,600 visitors in 2023 and gave away over 16,750 articles of clothing. We also receive household items and small furniture to help the homeless that are transitioning to permanent housing. 20699 33053 Transportation: our second largest expense is the van we purchased to provide rides to those without transportation resources to help them get to doctors appointments, jobs, and assistance resources. In 2023, we provided rides to 88 people. 1177 7261 Housing/Home Repair: we help people transition from being homeless to permanent housing by providing furniture, small appliances, and financial assistance. We also help residents with utility bills and rent/property taxes who are in danger of losing their home to life circumstances. We helped 25 people in this area in 2023. 6402 6402 Diaper Bank: we provided 163 new mothers with diapers.
