Absent special circumstances, financial aid is only provided to qualifying individuals up to a limit of $500 per six-month period. Financial aid requests must be verified and approved by trained social services volunteers and amounts over $500 in a six-month period must be approved by the board. No financial aid is provided directly to the needy. Instead, aid is paid directly to landlords, utilities, and medical institutions for the needs. The need for food and financial assistance is vetted by our social services volunteers who are trained and certified by the Central Texas Food Bank and the US Department of Agriculture.
